Textured Abstract #2

Acrylic, sand, glue and grout on canvas.

This was an experiment I produced during A levels: I produced several layers of paint and left the painting out in the rain overnight. This gave it a weathered look that worked well with my project at the time. I chose a dark and moody colour scheme to capture the wintery weather. I could brighten this up with a coloured frame, or I can also reproduce this painting using a lighter colour scheme.
